Jonathan N. Webb

WebbDr. Jonathan Webb received his bachelors in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1990), and his masters (1997) and doctorate (2000) in chemical engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. After earning his doctorate, he was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Colorado prior to taking an assignment with Integrated Biosystems, a technology provider to the biopharmaceutical industry. He is currently a Sr. Research Scientist with Eli Lilly and Company in their Manufacturing Sciences & Technology component, where he leads the commercialization effort for two recombinant protein therapeutics. His research interests include protein purification process design & optimization, protein stability & aggregation, biophysical characterization as it relates to purification processes, and protein freeze/thaw processes. Dr. Webb initially joined Lilly in 1990, with assignments in their corporate engineering and research & development components prior to taking educational leave in 1995 to pursue his doctorate.
