Mike McFate
Mike McFate received his BSChE from The University of Iowa in 1972. His initial employment after graduation was with Grain Processing Corporation (GPC) located in Mike’s hometown of Muscatine, Iowa. Mike eventually rose in management and was responsible for several production areas including the alcohol feed house, plant utilities and maltodextrin production. In 1979, Mike departed GPC to join Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) as the plant manager of their corn wet-milling facility in Decatur, Illinois. In 1994, Mike joined Tate & Lyle (formerly Staley) in Decatur, Illinois as Vice President of Manufacturing and is currently continuing in that position.
