Beth Havlik

Photo of Beth HavlikBeth Havlik graduated from The University of Iowa in 1986 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.  After working for five years in manufacturing and project engineering at 3M, she joined the consulting firm of Barr Engineering, where her technical focus has been on air quality and environmental engineering for the chemical, pharmaceutical, mining, and manufacturing industries.  In 1996, Beth was named Principal Engineer and Vice President in Barr's Environmental Management business unit.  Beth joined Barr's      Ann Arbor office in 2003, where she established its Environmental Management practice.  In 2006, she returned to Barr's headquarters in Minneapolis and currently leads staff development and recruiting efforts.

Barr provides engineering and environmental consulting services to clients across the nation and around the world.  They were incorporated as an employee-owened firm in 1966 and trace their origins to the early 1900s.  Today, the company has nearly 500 engineers, scientists, and technical support staff in Minnesota, Michigan, Missouri, and North Dakota that work with clients in numerous industries, as well as at all levels of government.
